Part 2 - Color Theory: Secondary Colors

PART 1    PART 3    PART 4    PART 5

Webster's defines Secondary Colors as:  a color formed by mixing primary colors in equal or equivalent quantities. Therefore the secondary colors come from mixing Red + Yellow = Orange, Yellow + Blue = Green, and Blue + Red = Purple. These colors are represented on our color wheel with the GREEN TRIANGLE.  Again, keep that in mind as our wheel starts to get more complex. (Although not difficult)

The secondary colors are: ORANGE, GREEN, and PURPLE.
