The gentle colors of the Spring evoke the romantic and sensuous quality this color combination brings.  It is not a surprise that the pink color (red + white) is the foundation of this group.  Since red is the color that naturally attracts the eye, any of its tints have the same properties.  To utilize the color pink to its fullest, we must use in conjunction with other pastel tints.  Many impressionists artists used this color combination to portray wonderful works of art that are romantic and gentle.  Degas, Monet and Cassatt are a few examples of artists with an eye for this type of colors.
